N. Korea Set to Hold It's First Ruling Party Leadership Conference in a Generation

Is Kim Jong-il about to name a successor?  There appears to be a change of leadership on the horizon in communist North Korea with speculation that his youngest son may be hand selected to replace his father.

The  BBC is reporting, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-11378145, that the Worker's Party is likely to raise Kim Jong-un to a senior position in the government.  This would essentially make him the heir to his fathers "throne".

Whether anything will change in this highly secretive country, only time will tell.

What are your thoughts?
