Sudanese Vice President, Ali Osman Taha, has called on the U.N. to reject the International Criminal Court arrest warrants against Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir for allegedly masterminding a campaign of genocide Sudan's Darfur region.

OPINION: Hopefully the U.N. does not bend to this threat of blackmail by Mr. Taha. Omar Al-Bashir justifiably has the arrest warrants issued against him if for nothing else than his inaction to resolve the conflict and at the worst for ordering the genocide. This man needs to stand trial and either prove his innocence or suffer the consequences of his actions.
